Our New and Improved SST Website

Last week (Thursday 17th July 2025) saw the exciting launch of our new Sustainable Smart Technologies website. We have been busy over the past few months developing the new and improved website but, now that it’s complete, it will support the business in numerous valuable ways.

An Improved User Experience

Most obviously, the new website reflects the company’s new name and the branding of the larger group, in line with Sustainable Investments Limited’s acquisition of IoT Horizon back in November 2024. (Click here for more details).

It also gives us an opportunity to clearly explain how the company’s capabilities sit alongside those of the wider Sustainable Investments group. Here, visitors can learn about our services and capabilities, our track record and how systems such as Neronis will add value, all through our new easily navigated menus and dedicated content sections.

Last year’s acquisition has allowed us to further define the core markets we actively service – Domestic & Social Housing, Commercial Buildings and Consultancy – which now have dedicated pages for each of them.

Optimised for Mobile and Tablet

More people than ever are viewing our website on mobile devices, and the new website has been developed with this in mind. We made sure accessibility and readability for those accessing the website via their phones and tablets were also catered for.

A Platform for Growth

The new website is a significant upgrade, and thanks to greater flexibility with our content management systems behind the scenes, one which we can continue to work on and improve as it develops and evolves over time.

Announcing the launch, our managing director, Niamh Allen said:

“We are delighted to announce that our new Sustainablesmarttech.com website is now live. It represents an important update for us all. It’s clearer in the way that it delivers content, it’s more visually appealing, and it offers a better user experience overall.

“The launch is contributing to a more general sense of progress. As part of a larger group, we and our clients can also now take advantage of some important economies of scale, and enjoy the sort of benefits that come with achieving a certain critical mass. For example, we can offer customers greater surety in terms of resources, capability, financial security and more.

“And because we’re working alongside companies that have such strong foundations in the domestic social housing, and commercial buildings markets, we’re now even better placed to showcase the many advantages of Neronis and our consultancy services. Asset managers and other property professionals are precisely the sorts of customers who understand the value of accurate and actionable data insights that can be integrated into their existing systems.”

This is a view shared by IoT Horizon founder and Commercial Director, Deyrick Allen, who said:

“This is another great milestone for the business. We can be proud of what we’ve achieved so far, but now we have more resources, a bigger market presence and some tremendous opportunities ahead. We’re at an exciting juncture, and the new website is going to play a vital role in helping us continue to grow.”
