We’re pleased to welcome Archie, our new Junior Sales Executive, to Sustainable Smart Technologies (SST). Based in Rawtenstall, Archie brings enthusiasm, drive, and a fresh perspective to our sales team. We spoke with him about his background, first impressions, and goals for the months ahead.
From Property to Smart Tech
Before joining SST, Archie worked as an estate agent, a role that honed his communication skills and taught him the importance of trust in client relationships.

Life as a Junior Sales Executive
Archie’s day-to-day involves speaking with clients, preparing proposals, and tackling new challenges.
“No two days are the same. I’m constantly learning and meeting interesting people – it’s very exciting.”
He’s especially keen to work with clients in the housing sector, a space he’s familiar with and passionate about improving. Over the next 3–6 months, his goal is simple:
“Manage my own portfolio of clients.”

Archie’s life isn’t all about work. He’s a huge fan of football and golf and spends his downtime enjoying the outdoors, especially on top of a hill.

Archie enjoys working in a friendly, lively environment where people support each other which makes SST a great fit.
“Professionally, I’m inspired by people who’ve worked hard to get where they are – not necessarily famous, just real people.”
If he weren’t in sales?
“I think I’d be a counsellor or a support worker, something that helps people.”
And yes, one day he hopes to live in Italy, even if just for a short while.
