Prepare for Awaab’s Law – Act Now on Damp and Mould

From October 2025, Awaab’s Law will legally require social housing providers to investigate and resolve hazardous damp and mould within strict time frames. Non-compliance could lead to court action and increased scrutiny.

We support Registered Providers with innovative, proactive solutions that tackle damp issues – helping you stay compliant while improving resident wellbeing.

Proactively pre-empting problems has many benefits:

  • Protecting Resident Health – Reduce respiratory illnesses and create healthier homes.
  • Cost Efficiencies – Prevent costly future repairs with early intervention.
  • Preserving Your Properties – Maintain structural integrity and asset value.
  • Boosting Energy Efficiency – Improve insulation and lower bills for tenants.
  • Strengthening Trust – Demonstrate compliance and care to residents and regulators.

Our smart technology goes beyond damp – it supports your fight against fuel poverty and promotes sustainable, resident-focused living.

How it works

We place sensors in your environment to measure variables such as temperature, humidity, energy use, and occupancy. These sensors continuously collect data and send it via the most suitable wireless network for your needs.

Our system monitors these changes and triggers automatic alerts or actions when needed. For example, if a domestic property’s heating system is using more energy than usual, an alert can inform the homeowner to investigate or make adjustments.
